AISC fosters a lifelong love of learning so we can all contribute to an ever-changing world.
From my Learning...

Success can come in many forms. We at AISC believe every one of our students can succeed as learners when teaching and learning is student-centered. We focus our educational model on the attributes that make up the Vision for an AISC Learner.
Five Realms of Learning
We also recognize that learning can take place in multiple areas for students and hence our Student Success Model showcases Five Realms of Learning. As educators, we strive to send every student, who passes through our gates, into the world with a sense of inquiry, environmental responsibility, wellbeing, and inspiration to continue to learn.

Individualized Learning
Research suggests that quality professional learning positively affects student growth. AISC nurtures adult learning by ensuring both common professional development in service of strategic initiatives and personalized learning opportunities in service of individual professional goals and development. Faculty members are encouraged to create individual professional learning plans connected to and complementing school and sectional priorities.

AISC Wellbeing Philosophy
We believe it is our collective responsibility to intentionally promote wellbeing and empower students to thrive. As a community, we define wellbeing as feeling good and functioning well. Knowing and taking care of oneself, making positive choices and helping others enables students to flourish. The Wellbeing Framework at AISC comprises four domains: Healthy Habits, Self Awareness, Self Management and Positive Relationships.
