Administrative Positions for the 2025-2026 School Year
Process Details for the Administrative Positions:
- Candidates should apply by submitting:
- A brief cover letter
- Resume
- Statement of educational philosophy & vision that details the three things that you feel must evolve in K-12 education over the next three years
- Application including three professional references
- If the candidate has a partner who will also be applying for a future faculty position, please also include a cover letter and resume detailing qualifications. This will be used for future planning only and should not be considered an intent to hire.
- Application Deadline: August 30, 2024
- Decision Deadline: November 22. 2024
- Interviews will be conducted via Zoom in September 2024
- Finalist visits will occur on campus in October/early November 2024
- AISC reserves the right to offer the position in advance of the schedule outlined above

External Applicants
External applicants interested in positions at the American International School Chennai are requested to apply through our applicant portal below. Please have the following documents available before continuing:
- A cover letter (approximately one page) addressed to the Head of School, which describes the specific position(s) of interest to the applicant, explains the applicant’s professional aspirations, relevant experiences, as well as the applicant’s availability and pertinent personal information.
- A current resume, which includes date of birth , citizenship, and current contact information.
- A list of references which includes the names and contact details of current and past supervisors.
