Ms. Gayathri Sriram
Gayathri returned to Chennai in 2003 and is the Managing Director of UCAL, an auto component tier one major in India. Gayathri has received two masters degrees in education and English from Carnegie Mellon University, PA and Rider University, NJ. She commenced her professional journey as a teacher of English at the highly prestigious Lawrenceville Preparatory School, NJ and has consequently earned her laurels as a reputed educator as head of department in the US public school systems in New Jersey and Texas.
Gayathri has a daughter Nivedita who graduated from AISC in 2016.
Dr. Sunder Ramaswamy
Sunder returned to India in July 2015. He presently is the Vice Chancellor of Krea University coming up in Sri City, near Chennai, India and is on leave as the Distinguished College Professor of International Economics, Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont, USA where he has been a faculty member and administrator since 1990. Before returning to Chennai, he was the president of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS), Monterey, CA. Sunder received his bachelor’s degree from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi, master’s degree from Delhi School of Economics and Ph.D in Economics from the Purdue University, USA. He is also the vice chair and Executive Committee member of the Board of Trustees of the Asia Foundation.
His wife, Varna, and he have one child Srivatsan (Grade 10) at AISC.
Mr. Josh Foulger
Josh Foulger is the Country Head and Managing Director of Foxconn International Holding, India. He has around 25 years of hands-on International experience in managing mega operations and global supply chains. Prior to Foxconn, he spent 17 years with the Nokia Corporation, where he was the President of the Nokia SEZ and started the manufacturing operations for Nokia in India, and a few countries. He has conducted business in many countries, and has lived and worked in the US, India, and Vietnam. He has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas.
His wife, Anita, and he have two children Kaitlyn (Grade 12) at AISC and Gracelyn.
Mr. Edward Burleson
Ed arrived in Chennai in the summer of 2018 to be the Management Officer (Administrative Director) at the U.S. Consulate General. During this 10 years working for the U.S. Department of State, he has been posted to Manila, Tokyo, Washington D.C., Kabul, and The Hague. Previously, Ed taught English in Japanese public middle schools, taught mathematics in a public middle school in Houston, Texas, and also worked as an instructional designer to create online compliance training courses.He has an MA from the University of New Mexico and a BS from the University of Houston.
A native of Houston, Texas, Ed is here with his wife Namiko, who is originally from Japan. Their two daughters currently attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ms. Julie Tikekar
Julie-Lynn Tikekar has lead a global career in product and strategy in the areas of e-commerce, channel distribution, payments, regulatory compliance, and most recently, risk management. Having relocated to Chennai, India in 2011, she spent 3 years developing onshore commerce solutions in emerging markets. Most recently, she joined PayPal’s risk management team in Chennai, and manages global resolutions and protections strategy. Julie holds two Bachelors of Arts and Science degrees in German, French, and Russian from Louisiana State University, USA, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Her husband, Maneesh, and she have two children Ava (Grade 8) and Eshaan (Grade 4) at AISC.
Mr. Michael Roberson
Michael relocated to India in May 2010 as the Vice President Sales and Marketing for AVT McCormick. He co-founded Provision Value Gard where he is currently the Managing Director. He also established Aspera Logistics, overseeing the business as the CEO. Michael earned his Master’s degree from Trinity Western University in Administrative Leadership, in Vancouver, Canada.
His wife, Shabri, and he have three children, Rohan (Grade 9), Adesh (Grade 7), and Kairav (Grade 3) at AISC.
Ms. Shanthi Giridhar
Shanti returned to Chennai in January 2013. She has a BA in Commerce from Madras University and Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Shanthi has worked with Ernst & Young (Middle East practice, Zimbabwe and Ghana) as Manager and Senior Manager from 1994 to 2001. Prior to that she was the Deputy Manager with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in India for six years. Currently she is self-employed and handles investments for a small portfolio including two trusts.
Her husband, Srinivasaraghava, and she have two children Prahalad (Grade 11) and Amrita (Grade 7) at AISC.
Mr. Sridhar Venkatesh
Sridhar moved to India in 2007. He is the co-founder and vice president of Indix Corp situated in Chennai and Seattle. He was the CEO of CDOT Alcatel Research Center and co-founder and vice president of Caymas Systems before Indix. Sridhar earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT in Cambridge, MA.
His wife, Deepa, and he have three children Manav (Grade 11), Arjan (Grade 9) and Karan (Grade 7) at AISC.
Ms. Susan Tuller
Susan arrived in India in the Fall 2016. She joined the Deportment of State Foreign Service in 1999 and has served in Haiti, Honduras, Guayana, Ecuador, Benin and Swaziland. Before this she was a peace corps volunteer in Micronesia and was the associate peace corps director in Eritrea. Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Richmond, Virginia and a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
Her husband, William Bridgeland, and she have two children Trevor (Grade 11) and Chloe (Grade 9) at AISC.
